We know the struggle—driving in circles, wasting time, and still no spot in sight. Urban street parking is tougher than ever, with fewer street spots, outdoor dining areas, and more cars on the road. SNAG is here to make life easier for everyone—whether you’re commuting, touring the city, or just need a quick stop. Street parking should be simple, and with SNAG, it is.
How SNAG ratings work?
SNAG depends on users providing parking spaces for seekers. We like to reward spot givers by collecting a small convenience fee for their waiting time. Our rating system is automatic and users can not rate other users like other apps. Being that we are dependent on spots for seekers, we rely on users who are most active at utilizing the app to swap their parking spaces. Therefore, users who utilize giving spots within the app will obtain a higher rating. Users who show a consistent pattern of only taking spots will receive a lower rating. Ratings are most important within the app while generating the seeker list. However, time and distance to the spot are more important. We want efficiency out there! Simply put, the more spots you give, the higher the rating! We do understand that it is not always a great time to swap a spot so we use an aggregate pattern to determine the rating. For example, not giving a single space will not hurt the rating. However, if a user has taken 3 spots without giving a spot, this will have a negative impact on your rating.
